This is not a fad diet or diet club but a friendly and supportive environment in which we will explore various aspects of our own health and wellness; find ways to improve it and ultimately aim to achieve and maintain a long-term healthy weight for ourselves. Hypnotherapy will be utilised within the programmes to promote positive self-image and confidence. Please call me on 01823 324490 or email healinghypnosis@aol.com to register your interest.

MAKE 2010 YOUR YEAR FOR POSITIVE CHANGE

So What Is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon that is centuries old. Used therapeutically, it is a safe technique that has many healing uses. Most of us experience hypnotic trance-like states without even realising it? When did you last become so absorbed in a book, TV programme or some other task or pursuit, that life continued on around you without you even being aware? Why were you not aware? Because your focus was concentrated on that one thing to the exclusion of everything else that continued to go on around you. In hypnosis our analytical/reasoning mind, (or conscious mind) is by-passed so that the unconscious mind can be accessed. It is here in the unconscious mind that we store every single thing we have ever experienced; every thought, feeling, behaviour, action, memory, whether they be positive or negative. And it is here too that that profound and long lasting changes can be made for the positive benefit of the patient. Hypnotherapy is just as it sounds - hypnosis and therapy combined.

Hypnosis for Pregnancy and Childbirth

How would you like to feel empowered to have a calm, comfortable, relaxed, gentle and natural birth? And not just for you, but for your baby too? If fear and tension are present, then pain is experienced. In our western culture we are taught directly or indirectly that this is what we should expect. But it doesn't necessarily have to be this way. If fear and tension are absent, then a comfortable, natural birthing is possible. And womens' bodies are beautifully made for the task.
